Industrial Ethernet FastConnect RJ45 Plug 4x2

Gigabit Ethernet networks are becoming more and more popular and less costly to install

 

With the new IE FC (Industrial Ethernet FastConnect) RJ45 Plug 4x2 connector, which is equipped with a robust metal housing, 8-wire ethernet cables can be quickly and easily assembled to the required length directly on site.

 

 

  • 8-core FastConnect installation cables for cabling system with Gigabit capability (AWG22 and AWG24 versions)
  • Easy stripping with the FastConnect Stripping Tool; the outer sheath and the braided shield are stripped accurately in one step
  • Connection to IE FC RJ45 modular outlet (AWG22), IE FC RJ45 plug 4 x 2 (AWG24) or IE FC M12 plug PRO 4x2 (X-coded) using insulation displacement method
  • Satisfies Category 6 (Cat6A) of the international cabling standards ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173

The cables are stripped and mounted as before with the 10/100 MB connectors and IE FC Stripping Tool. This means that no new methods of assembly need to be learned. 

The cores of the 8-wire IE FC TP cables are fed through eight openings in the connector. When the housing is pressed together, they are cut to length and contacted by the integrated cutting and clamping technology.
