What is a Hygienic Guard Lock?
The Hygienic Guard Lock, along with a range of interlocking solutions, have been designed by Fortress to keep operators safe from hazards while withstanding grueling clean-in-place procedures.
The IP67 and IP69 sealing in addition to FDA and USDA approved PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) interfaces between stainless steel components, have been carefully selected with open plant cleaning and CIP (Clean in Place) in mind.
Named after Louis Pasteur, the father of microbiology (who discovered germ theory), the Louis range has been specifically designed to stop bacteria growth.
The Louis range includes the Hygienic Guard Lock and a Non-Contact Safety Switch. Both units are robust stainless steel, ideal for caustic washdown processes.
