Today, IES is continuing to expand our services and product lines, and locations. As we grow, we are seeking to add to our skilled team of professionals, who are essential to supporting the manufacturing, processing, institutional, and commercial operations of our customers.
Below are just a few of the reasons our current employees said they enjoy being part of the IES team...
It may sound cliché, but it’s true – the IES team is more like a family – one that has grown a great deal since IES got its start in 1963. Throughout the years, we have continued to prioritize relationships - both externally, with our partners and customers, and internally - facilitating collaboration. And while we work together as a team and support each other like a family, we also appreciate the value and contributions of each individual. As a result, we are truly humbled by the loyalty and dedication of all those that have chosen to serve with IES for decades – many for more than 20, 30, and even 40 years!
As an industrial distributor, IES partners with hundreds of suppliers to stock, sell, and deliver products and services that companies and manufacturers need to operate.
We have the privilege of serving customers (including many Fortune 500 companies) from numerous and diverse industries, including:
Each industry impacts the U.S. Economy, and in some cases even play a role in national security, which makes supplying the products and processes essential to their success, that much more meaningful.
For the most part, IES employees work Monday through Friday. Working weekends is rare, and it is almost unheard of to miss a holiday with your family.
We understand that vacations and time off are vital to health, happiness, and productivity - as is the need for occasional flexibility - particularly in the event of medical or family emergencies.
Politics and red tape are not part of our culture. Our team of managers works directly with our owners, who keep the door/lines of communication open to all employees.
At IES, we recognize that your skills and knowledge are crucial to your success as well as ours, which is why we provide the time and resources to take advantage of seminars and training opportunities. This gives you a chance to not only enhance your effectiveness on the job, but potentially widen your career path. Plus, IES pays 100% of any costs associated with training attended at our request.
