Plant engineers often choose bayed enclosures such as the VX25, even for smaller control applications. However, that is not always the best solution. After all, baying systems may be flexible, but that also makes them complex. They require side panels to complete the enclosure unit, they need to be sealed at the baying points, they require baying accessories and mounting plate infills, and each enclosure needs its own separate accessories such as base/plinth, handles, etc. That all costs time in assembly, and money, too. The good news is that there’s an easier way. The VX SE free-standing enclosure system from Rittal.
