In conjunction with the expansion kit, Banner released two new Q45 Sensors. With a Dual Temperature Probe and a Current Transformer node, these new model types can handle new classes of applications. Sensors are combined with reliable, field-proven wireless architecture, eliminating the need to order multiple components.
The Wireless Q45CT Current Transformer Node is an industrial-grade battery-powered device with two transformers for a high or low current input that produces a proportional signal for measuring and monitoring power usage. The node delivers factory automation and Industrial IoT solutions for a range of applications requiring current monitoring, such as Motor Load, Compressor Failure, Energy Use, and On/Off state.
The Wireless Q45DT Dual Thermistor Sensor Probe tracks values from separate thermistors and the differential between them. The industrial-grade battery-powered device can be used to transmit temperature values to a controller for remote monitoring of critical systems. It measures building and control processes easily, and it can provide the temperature data needed to make critical shutdown decisions.
