Not only does our RockStar® ModuPlug modular plug-in connector system meet current market requirements; it has been specially designed with the future in mind too. Using the individual modules, you combine all the necessary functions for power, signal, and data transmission in a single interface.
Thanks to the new variety of module sizes, you can fit more applications than ever before in one plug-in connector. The modules reduce the amount of space required and cut costs when compared with fixed-pole inserts and other modular plug-in connector systems. The sophisticated frames and modules can be installed with extreme ease and integrated into HDC enclosures with the IP65 and IP68 protection classes.

The frames and modules can be installed with extreme ease and integrated into HDC housings with the IP65 and IP68 protection classes.
You can even use RockStar ModuPlug in existing applications without the need to make system adjustments.

The high-performance 100 A module of our system is available in the “Single Plus 1.5” width. It is narrower than the market standard and creates space for further modules. You can, however, also choose smaller frames and enclosure sizes to save both space and weight.
Transfer more signals with the same enclosure dimensions thanks to a higher contact density - 36 signal contacts at a rated voltage of 250 V. The double module HD 36 achieves 50% more than the market standard and therefore sets a benchmark.
A new level of data transfer: up to two Cat.-6A cables each with 10 Gbit can now be integrated in a module. Weidmuller's innovative two-pole bus module can accommodate megabit and gigabit data inserts. The use of standard M12 connector technology achieves optimal EMC values. A 360-degree shield connection offers maximum protection against external interference.
You save installation space, weight, and costs: choose now between four different module widths. The halved pitch size allows twice the number of module slots in the frame. The reduced pitch separation allows more functionality in the same installation space.

Specially Designed with the Future in Mind

- Pitch size halved The module pitch size in the frame has been halved. This doubles the number of module spaces and increases the functionality in the same space.
- High-speed data The compact bus module is designed for megabit and gigabit data connectors. This allows the integration of up to two Cat. 6A connections, each with 10 GBit in one module.
- Pneumatic contacts The addition of Pneumatic contacts makes this truly innovative and introduces the concept of non-electrical connectivity in one tidy connector.
