You need JavaScript enabled to view it.Responsible for the management and purchasing of inventory for distribution to branch locations and end customers, a corporate buyer must be able to build relationships and negotiate pricing with vendors, in addition to analyzing inventory performance and return on investment.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in purchasing/inventory management
- Proficient with MS Excel and Office
- Strong work ethic
- Effective listening, communication, and negotiation skills
- Motivated to establish and maintain vendor partnerships
- Commitment to learn and understand the products to aid in the ability to purchase effectively
- Drug screen and pre-employment aptitude tests are required
