QM30VT Vibration and Temperature Sensors for Predictive Maintenance

QM30VT Vibration and Temperature Sensors

QM30VT vibration and temperature sensors continually monitor machine health to detect potential problems on motors, fans, pumps, and similar equipment.  This lets you:

  • Detect problems early
  • Prevent unexpected downtime
  • Plan maintenance efficiently

Banner's next-generation QM30VT Series sensors feature a smaller ultracompact design, exceptional accuracy, easier installation, and are totally backwards compatible.

While they are available with an IP67-rated sealed aluminum housing for most industrial applications, they are also available with an IP69K-rated 316L stainless steel housing suitable for use in washdown environmentsRead an example of use with filler application.

QM30VT Vibration and Temperature Sensor Advantages

Easy to Use: Output actionable data such as RMS Velocity, RMS High Frequency Acceleration, Peak Velocity, etc., which is pre-processed from the vibration waveforms in the sensor
Simple and Powerful: Provides high accuracy vibration and temperature measurements with dual axis vibration detection up to 4 KHz bandwidth
Peel and Stick: Compact housing, nearly 50% smaller than the QM42, connects easily to battery-powered Nodes that can be deployed in hard-to-reach and tight locations
Compatible: QM30VT1 is compatible with the Banner Wireless Solutions Kit for Vibration Monitoring
Reduced Complexity: Machine or process reconfiguration made easier; great for retrofit applications
Industrial Internet of Things: Pair with a wireless Node and a DXM Gateway for remote monitoring through a local network or the Cloud

KEY BENEFITS - QM30VT Vibration and Temperature Sensors

QM30VT Series sensors build on the capabilities offered by the QM42VT Series sensors they replace. They maintain all the same functionality, registers, and scaling of the QM42VT Series. However, their ultracompact design (30 mm x 30 mm x 13.25 mm) and rigid metal construction reduces resonant interference, enabling superior measurement accuracy. They are available in IP67- and IP69K-rated models and are some of the smallest sensors available on the market.

QM30VT Series sensors have an ultracompact design that fits easily in very small spaces. The thin, flexible cable and easy-to-use bracket options simplify installation, even in hard-to-access locations. They are available with an IP67-rated sealed aluminum housing for use in most industrial applications or with an IP69K-rated 316L stainless steel housing suitable for use in washdown environments.

Machine vibration is often caused by imbalanced, misaligned, loose, or worn parts. QM30VT Series sensors provide greater levels of accuracy in measuring RMS velocity and other vibration characteristics. They will detect even slight changes in machine performance, so potential problems can be identified early, before an issue can cause additional damage, machine failure, and costly unplanned downtime.

View graphs of vibration data, create alerts, store, and analyze data from multiple assets using QM30VT Series sensors in combination with the Wireless Solutions Kit for Temperature and Vibration (sold separately). Or create your own solution using Banner’s Connected Data Solutions cloud software in combination with the sensors, radios or nodes, and a DXM Series wireless controller.

QM30VT Series Sensors can be used alone for simple monitoring and data collection
or as part of a complete predictive maintenance solution.
