Encouraging Students

Daniel Davis
Student brings it!  Even Breakfast...

A Shreveport area high school senior and honor student who served as president of his high school robotics team spent some time shadowing our executive vice president, David R. Doyal. After spending a day at the IES corporate office and getting to attend a meeting with our Siemens partner and Louisiana Tech (before officially becoming a student there), he showed up the next morning with breakfast for the entire office to show his appreciation!

Like this thoughtful gesture, a video profile by a local news station shows that this bright young man has character and heart - something we look for in those interested in the chance to join the IES team...

Daniel Davis is definitely a standout student! With his passion and heart, he may indeed become a "world changer."

IES IS LOOKING FOR SIMILARLY BRIGHT-MINDED, HARD-WORKING, TECHNICALLY PASSIONATE
INDIVIDUALS WHO ALIGN WITH OUR SERVANT-BASED LEADERSHIP CULTURE TO JOIN THE IES TEAM...

These are some of the key characteristics IES looks for when selecting interns and college graduates through on-campus recruiting like the PAID (Professional Association for Industrial Distribution) Career Fair at Texas A&M.

Encouraging students is not only important to their future success... but ours, too. We're proud to recruit talented young people who are enthusiastic about contributing to the success of the customers and industries we serve.

As our team continues growing, IES is of course also seeking experienced industry professionals and welcomes your recommendations...
