Warehouse Representative (Corporate) - Shreveport, LA

Experience, Skills & Requirements

  • Warehouse/Shipping & Receiving experience
  • Physical capability to move a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
  • Basic computer skills + Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, and the ability to adapt as necessary
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly - both verbally and in writing
  • Drug screen and pre-employment aptitude tests are required
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive shipments
  • Place items received into designated locations in the warehouse or deliver them to the appropriate recipient
  • Pull and confirm the accuracy of customer orders
  • Prepare orders for shipment and/or load and deliver items on the company panel truck
  • Maintain a tidy/safe work area
  • Other duties as assigned or required 

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Lift up to 50 lbs from the ground and pull 50 lbs of force
  • Safely operate material handling equipment including forklift
  • Climb and work from ladders
  • Fully squat, stoop, kneel or reach for extended periods of time
  • Stand for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions
  • The warehouse environment can involve exposure to dirt, dust, grease, noise, heat, and cold
