 ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of electrical systems and products through education and/or experience strongly preferred
  • Industry experience and familiarity with product categories and lines represented ideal
  • Strong technical aptitude recommended
  • Positive, professional demeanor with exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills essential
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Strong work ethic and capacity to thrive in a team environment
  • Experience in customer service and inside sales 
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and external partners
  • Effective time management and organization skills
  • Valid driver's license

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & OPPORTUNITIES

  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests
  • Provide information about products and services
  • Enter sales quotes
  • Accurately and quickly process and track orders
  • Work with sales team to assist customers with product selection, brand, and pricing options, as well as technical information
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors
  • Facilitate inventory control
  • Assist with day-to-day branch operations as necessary
  • Continually develop product knowledge, and attend/participate in manufacturer product training
